This Privacy Policy explains how TruAido ("TruAido," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information. It applies to truaido.com and to the services we provide to our clients.
Mobile information and text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or share mobile opt-in data or phone numbers with anyone.
Our text messaging program
- Consent is optional. You are never required to agree to receive text messages in order to use our website, request information, or purchase our services.
- What you will receive. If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you may receive a demonstration message, messages about your account or onboarding, and service-related notifications.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies. Our demonstration sends a single message.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@truaido.com.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing address, trade and service area, and business registration details required for carrier messaging registration.
Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our systems.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring pages, collected through standard web logs and analytics.
Cookies: we use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and analytics. Most browsers let you refuse cookies.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and support the services you have purchased.
- To build, host, and maintain your website and system.
- To register your business for text messaging with mobile carriers, as required by them.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, and support.
- To improve our services and website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Information belonging to our clients' customers
When we provide services to a business, we process information about that business's own customers on its behalf and at its direction. That business remains responsible for the lawfulness of the data it provides to us, including any consent required to contact those individuals.
We do not use our clients' customer data for our own marketing, and we do not sell it, share it with other clients, or transfer it to third parties except to the service providers described below.
Service providers
We use third-party providers to operate our services, including HighLevel (platform and CRM), Twilio (telephony and messaging), Stripe (payments), Google (business profile and analytics), and email delivery providers. These providers process information only as needed to perform services for us and are bound by their own obligations.
As stated above, mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary afterward to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. You may request an export or deletion of your data at any time.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of your information, and a copy of your information in a portable format. California residents have these rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information.

Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
